The Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund (CCSF) full scholarships to study abroad funds scholarships at least 15 awards to sponsor Canadian in the area of academic or artistic work in the United Kingdom. The scholarship has been awarded since 1967, and over £800,000 has been awarded to over 450 Canadians with talents and determination. The scholarships have been awarded for applicants studying in over 40 higher schools of learning including the universities, colleges and conservatories in the United Kingdom.
Eligibilities for the scholarships:
To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be outstanding academic or artistic student who intends to be an ambassador for Canada in the United Kingdom. The scholarships are available for: science, design, creative art, music, social sciences, engineering, and humanities.
Also, applicants must be a student who has already started there studies in one of the prestigious United kingdom higher school of learning.
After application, applicants will be shortlisted, and winners of the first round will be contacted for an interview.
Value of the scholarship.
The scholarship value ranges from £2,000 to £5,000.
Summary of eligibilities:
Applicant must be Canadians with a proof including a Canadian passport. Also, applicants must be currently enrolled in one of the universities or colleges in the United Kingdom for courses in Sciences, Engineering, humanities, music, art and design.
Applicant must also display or demonstrate academic excellence based on previous studies or commitment.
Applicant must also show that they require scholarship or funds to finish their studies in the United Kingdom.

How to apply.
Submit an application form which can be downloaded from the provider website via the link below and submit all supporting documents. Applicant must provide proof of financial need and proof of Canadian citizenship. Likewise, the application must be accompanied by a personal statement, not more than 500 words showing the course of study, and why you think you are the best candidate for the scholarship. Applicants must also provide their curriculum vitae showing their details, specialised knowledge, technical skills, training or academic work experience including publications if you have any.
Copies of the transcript must be attached as proof of academic excellence. Lastly, the applicants must submit two references one from the current supervisor. The References include a form and a letter from the referee. The letter by the referee must be written by the current supervisor with the university letterhead and send directly to the Canadian Centennial Scholarship Fund.
